In our 2021 Newsletter we carried the story of 57 Squadron’s Lancaster ED706 (DX-A) and her crew that were lost on operations in 1943 (see page 26).  We have heard from David van Coolwijk that, despite the COVID restrictions currently in place in The Netherlands, the new memorial to the crew has now been unveiled and it is planned that a ceremony attended by relatives of the crew will be held in May.
