Tony is the Chairperson of the 57 & 630 Squadron's Association. He was a 1st tourist Navigator(Plotter) on 57 Squadron from April 1982 - January 1986. While on the Squadron he flew operationally during the Falklands Conlfict and participated in the 1985 Strategic Bombing Competition in the USA. Subsequent tours saw Tony complete fly with 101 Squadron (VC10s), 241 OCU (VC10s), 55 Squadron (Victors), and as OC 10 Squadron (VC10s). His ground tours included spells at High Wycombe, in Whitehall, at the UK Defence Academy, with NATO (Belgium - twice), at the Australian Defence Academy and as Base Commander of Basra Airport, Iraq. After almost 33 years service, he retired from the RAF in March 2012. After a year spent travelling and doing voluntary work for a children's charity, Tony accepted a position in Qatar as a member of a team establishing the country's first Joint Command and Staff College. After almost 5 years in Qatar, Tony returned to the UK from where he continues to travel and tend his garden.
